HD2 SoftReset

This is a very simple tool which soft resets the device. Inspired on and intended to fit the HTC HD2 which does not have the traditional softreset button easily reachable (you need to remove the back cover lid for it) and still you need to have something like a stylus to press it, which HD2 neither has. This is a freeware application brought to you by JDB Pocketware, that will allow you to softreset with just a tap.

How to install?

Download the CAB file to your device (or to your PC and copy it to the device) and run it. After installation finishes it will be available in the Start programs list, you can then place the shortcut icon anywhere you want.

Why soft reset?

Soft reset is mostly required after installing applications, or after changing any registry or device configuration. Soft reset is also recommended to be performed periodically because it will 'clean' the devices RAM to ensure the phone operates in the optimal way. When the operating system or any application causes the device to become laggy or slow, then it is also a sign that a soft reset should be done.
